Cost: Scouts in Class A uniform - Free

          Ages 11-17: $9.00     18-61: $12.00     62+: $9.00

The troop will be visiting the Ronald Regan Library in Simi Valley to work on the American Heritage merit badge.  This will be an all day event.  Each scout attending will be required to wear their Class-A uniform in which case their admission will be free.  Family members and friends are welcome to attend this event.   The troop is paying for lunch so the only cost will be admission to the library.  Each person must arrange ther own transportation although we will still meet on Saturday morning so that we can all caravan to the library.

 

 

August Extra Campout

Cost: $30

Not everyone is attending summer camp so we have decided to throw in an extra campout in August.  Of course we are making it a local affair where we will be offering the cooking merit badge and working on Tenderfoot requirements.  This campout will have extra meals due to the cooking merit badge, along with our regular meals we will also be eating dinner on Friday night and lunch before we leave on Sunday.  The rest of the time we will just sit back and relax and have a good time.  Come join in on the fun.  Note that we will be back a little later than normal on Sunday .

Annual Planner

August 21, 2010
Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00PM
Location: ASM Daniel R's House

Troop 220's annual planning meeting will be held on August 21st.  This meeting is when all campouts, summer camps, advancement days, hikes, leader training, community service projects and day trips for the entire year are scheduled.  Patrol Leaders or their designated representative and ASMs should attend if at all possible.  Other troop members may come if they so desire.  This is a very important meeting; at least one member of each patrol should attend.  All scouts should let their Patrol Leader know which activities they would like for next year.  Lunch will be provided after the planning is completed, so please let our Scoutmaster know if you plan to attend so that we can plan appropriately for the food.
